Follow the steps below to Check-in on


Note: The online check-in self-service facility opens from 24 hours up until 3 hours before the scheduled flight departure time. This service is not available to traveling passengers on Air Niugini flights originating from Australia.


Step 1 – Retrieve your existing Booking


  • Visit the homepage to reveal the booking widget
  • Select the Check In tab, enter your Booking Reference and Last Name and click “Check In to retrieve your existing booking.




Step 2 – Hazardous Materials Page


  • You will need to review and confirm that you are not carrying any hazardous materials with you on your flight.



  • If you are carrying any of these items or are unsure about whether any of the items you are carrying could be considered hazardous, you should contact Air Niugini's customer service for assistance. They can provide you with more information about the hazardous materials regulations and help you determine whether your items can be carried on the flight.
  • If you are not carrying any of these items, you can simply confirm by clicking ‘NO, I’M NOT CARRYING THESE ITEMS’, and submit your online check-in.


Step 5 – Who’s Travelling


You will now redirected to the “Who’s Travelling” page to select the traveller(s) to check in – see example below. Click ‘CONTINUE’ to proceed.



Step 6 – Where are we sitting?


Choose your preferred seat on the seat selection page and the Click ‘CONTINUE’ to proceed.



Step 6 – Personalize Your Trip Experience


Choose extra you wish to add. If you do not wish to add any extras, click ‘CONTINUE’ to proceed.



Step 6 – Almost done! Time for payment.


 Make sure that you review all travel details and information provided are correct before proceeding to choose your preferred form of payment below to complete your purchase. You can view the booking summary, displayed on the right-hand side of your screen, to view your booking details and costs break-up.


  • Choose your preferred payment method to pay for your flight (and extras)
  • Enter your details in the fields provided, or by following the steps in the information provided (see Credit card example image below) 
  • Click “Continue” to process payment and check-in.



Take note:

  • While waiting for your transaction to be processed, do not hit the back button, refresh or leave the page. 
  • If you are not redirected back to the Confirmation page within the next 5 minutes, please do the following:
    1. Do not attempt another check-in.
    2. Contact us immediately on phone number +675 327 3780 or email to verify your check-in transaction before taking any further actions.


Step 7 – Check-in Confirmation


  • It will take a moment to check-in your flight(s). You will be redirected back to your confirmation, once it is confirmed as shown below.
